Problems and countermeasures of medical waste management and disposal in China

摘要

Medical waste is classified as number one hazardous waste in China's "the National Hazardous Waste List." On the basis of introducing classification, characteristics, and hazards of medical waste, the problems of medical waste management and disposal in China, such as classification, transport, management, and treatment are pointed out. Countermeasures to strengthen medical waste management and disposal are put forward.
