The mixture of low metamorphic coal in north of Shaanxi and plastic was heated under microwave condition.Gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer (GC/MS) was applied to analyze the component of tar.The results showed that with increasing addition of a proportion of plastic,coke yield decreased gradually,while yield of tar and gas increased gradually.With addition of the proportion of plastic,the content of C5-C10 atoms increased from 12.264% to 70.927%,while content of C11-C18 atoms decreased from 43.012% to 20.80%.The total content of aromatic compounds in tar decreased from 44.024% without plastic to 13.085% and the total content of alkanes and olefins in hydrocarbons increased from 32.301% to 52.105%.The content of benzene substances increased obviously from 7.385% without plastic to 16.395%.Accordingly,total content of alkanes and olefins increased while pyrolysis with plastic,and the light of tar could be produced.
