ANALYSIS OF TWO NON-GM SOY PRODUCTS AS POTENTIAL FISHMEAL REPLACEMENTS FOR JUVENILE COBIA, Rachycentron canadum

摘要

This study was undertaken to examine the potential of two non-genetically modified (non-GM) soy protein products produced by Navita Premium Feed Ingredients (NPFI) as potential fishmeal (FM) replacement candidates. These ingredients are rapidly gaining notoriety in the aquaculture industry as FM replacement studies with other carnivorous fish have shown great potential. These products provide a sustainable base for aquaculture expansion, are available on consistent supply and quality and have provento be of superior nutritive value than other soy products.
