摘要

The aim of this paper is focused on a comparison of dynamic models for variable speed Wind Turbine (WT) with Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG). Both WT models are implemented in two typical simulation software's used for solving power system Electro-Magnetic Transient (EMT). The transient responses of the WT models are analysed using a realistic wind speed profile as well as under simulated disturbances. Electrical and mechanical transient behaviour of the corresponding DFIG models implemented In Matlab and PSCAD/EMTDC are compared and the results are included in the present paper as well. Moreover, such WT models can be used as part of an aggregated model in order to assess the applicability of the compliance degree of the Grid Code requirements.
