Analysis of Rural Women’s Non-agricultural Work Based on the Application of Computer Models: taking Oprobit and the Mediation Effect Model as an Example

The application of computer models has become an important means and tool for writing papers today. Based on the 2012, 2013, and 2015 data of the China Comprehensive Social Survey, the article first uses the Oprobit model to find that engaging in non-agricultural work significantly reduces the subjective well-being of rural women. Once again, the OLS estimation and Ologit model are used to verify the robustness of the results; second, non-agricultural work has a more obvious impact on junior high school, high school education, and the economic status of the family at an average level or below, and the individual’s happiness in 2013 and 2015, however, the inhibitory effect of the high school group is greater than that of the junior high school group, and the average family economic status suppression effect is greater than the average level, and it is greater than 2013 in 2015; and finally, it was found that social entertainment played a part of the mediating effect of 11.03%, the mechanism of this effect is: rural women engaged in non-agricultural work reduce the frequency of leisure time entertainment and social interaction, thereby inhibiting the happiness effect.
