Approaches for Setting up a Carbon Trading Scheme in Egypt

This paper discusses the carbon market scheme, which should help Egypt meet its commitments under the Paris Agreement on submitting the nationally determined contributions (NDCs) reports to mitigate GHGs emission cross all domestic sectors on some regular basis every 5 years. This research will put Egypt on track to strengthen measuring, monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) systems, which will directly lead to a very clear low emission strategy to achieve our sustainable development goals within the mitigation transparency.
