A new S-band 8x12 unit single-ridge waveguide antenna array is designed. Each slot is longitudinally arranged on the center line of the wide side of the waveguide without offset, and metal diaphragms are set on both sides of the slot. A matching conductor block is arranged in the center of the waveguide to form a waveguide power splitter for excitation. A choke groove is used between adjacent waveguides to suppress the coupling between waveguide arrays. The test results show that the VSWR of the antenna in the working frequency is better than 1.3, the adjacent port isolation is less than -18.5dB, the side-lobe level is less than -13.5dB, the radiation efficiency is greater than 85%, and the antenna has a lower than -37dB Cross-polarization characteristics.
