Exploration of Painting Creation Media and Concept Based on Visual Communication Design

Painting and design are important parts of art. Since the origin of human beings, painting and design have developed together. Under the new media environment, digital painting, as a new creative form derived from traditional painting, is highly expressive in terms of content and effect. As independent disciplines, fine arts and design have no subordinate relationship with each other, but they are inextricably linked. In the constant exploration, the visual communication design coincides with the creation of digital painting, which creates a spark of wisdom. In our country’s visual communication design, the integration and innovation of traditional painting art elements is the key to form a visual communication design with our unique artistic style. This paper analyzes the digital painting in the new media environment, starting from the two aspects of creative media and creative ideas, on the basis of traditional painting research, analyzes the new media environment based on the visual communication design of painting creation media and ideas.
