More and more countries are popularizing the use of electric vehicles (EVs) in an effort to consider economic, environment-friendly and sustainable planning goals. Therefore, building sufficient charging stations in the right places becomes increasingly significant and necessary. We approach related problems in Korea by establishing a series of models using publicly available data. We first select the Set Covering model (SC) to simulate the optimal placement and distribution of charging stations for Korea and present a feasible investment planning to solve the classic "chicken or the egg" quandary via using the Evaluation Index System (EIS) based on FAHP theory. Additionally, we establish a TQ Forecasting model (TQF) and then apply it to identify that when the market share of EVs reach 10%, 30%, 50% and 100% is 2022, 2033, 2037 and 2053.
