An efficient multiple-classifier system for Arabic calligraphy style recognition

摘要

This work endeavors to present an automatic system for Arabic-calligraphy style classification. The main issue one faces in order to fulfill such a task is the unavailability of data due to the lack of related works. Therefore, we put forward, and make publically available, a new Arabic calligraphy style dataset. Additionally, we introduce a system for Arabic calligraphy style recognition based on the combination of multi-classifier decisions.
