摘要

Based on a certain type of radar reconnaissance receiver module design requirements, this article designed a real-time high-speed broadband frequency measurement system using high-speed ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converter) SAD08D1500KQ and FPGA XC7K160T. The system combined FPGA built-in IP core FIFO (First-in, First-out) and serial FFT (Fast Fourier Transform), which made it faster than traditional serial FFT frequency measurement system and more resource economical than polyphase filter + parallel FFT frequency measurement system which is currently widely used. The test results show that in 1.6GSPS sampling rate, the system can realize frequency measurement to signal between DC to 800MHz, which verified the correctness and feasibility of the design.
