Evaluation of Power System Flexibility Based on the Typical Scene Set

In a high-proportion wind power system, the evaluation of system flexibility is the basis of flexible resource allocation and planning. In order to take into account computational efficiency and data characteristics, the typical scene set of the system are obtained after hierarchical clustering, subtraction and fusion of wind power and load. Then, based on the fluctuation of wind power and load, the flexibility requirements of the system are modeled by the uncertainty method. Then, the economic scheduling model with flexibility constraints was solved by traversing the typical scene set, and the probability and expectation of the up/down flexibility deficiency were calculated. Finally, the flexibility index of the system is calculated according to the probability of each typical scene, and the flexibility resources of the system are evaluated to guide the allocation of flexibility resources. The validity and practicability of the proposed method are verified by a numerical example.
