Field Uniformity Simulation of Generator Rotor Reverberation Chamber in High Frequency

A reverberation chamber field uniformity simulation designed for generator rotor is introduced in this paper. With electric magnetic simulation software CST STUDIO, a model of reverberation chamber is created, and field uniformity simulation is taken in the frequency channel from 1 GHz to 1.2 GHz. The standard deviation of field uniformity is computed by means of simulating electric field strength in 9 test positions of the workplace. The results present that the performance of this reverberation chamber conforms to the request of RTCA/DO-160G and have promising further usage in generator rotor simulation.
