With the rapid development of new energy, renewable energy sources are gradually replacing traditional fossil energy sources. While large-scale new energy access meets people’s needs, it also brings many complicated problems. Subsynchronous oscillation of new energy has always been one of the main problems threatening the safe operation of the power grid. The complex torque coefficient method is one of the methods to study the traditional AC power grid. This paper studies the subsynchronization problem of direct drive permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) with large capacity in the near area of thermal power units, and proposes a simplified modeling method for PMSG, which simplifies the full-control device into an equivalent voltage and current source, which greatly simplifies wind-fire bundling Sub-synchronous analysis of the system.
