In this paper, it proposes a kind of deep-sea water extraction mechanism with a new passive pressure retaining device. The pressure compensation device with a piston type cylinder is equipped, which has better pressure protection performance. Through theoretical calculation and numerical simulation, the pressure retaining characteristics of piston type fidelity cylinder are evaluated. By controlling the size of the annular slot, the compression of the piston in the pressure retaining tube is the isothermal compression.
