摘要

In this paper, firstly we model the channel impulse characteristic by combining the Monte Carlo method with Fournier-Forand (FF) phase function. Then we analyze the effects of various field of views (FOVs) and transmission distances on the channel impulse response and found that temporal dispersion has rigorous bandwidth limitations on the undersea wireless optical communication (UWOC) system in the harbor water. Furthermore, we propose to adopt the maximum likelihood sequence estimation (MLSE) method at the receiver to mitigate the bandwidth limitations and demonstrate that MLSE has great potential to improve system performance.
