Strategies for the development of telemedicine consultation: Lean management theory perspective

The telemedicine consultation has broken the geographical restriction and promoted the subsidence of quality medical resources. In this way, patients can receive high level medical services from the experts at the primary hospital. The article introduces the idea of lean management into the telemedicine consultation, to analyze the phenomenon of wasteful resources in the existing telemedicine consultation, improves the consultation and the consultation efficiency, improves the patient satisfaction with the method and principle of lean thinking.
