摘要

Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) is a short burst of electromagnetic energy which can disrupt the electrical & electronic systems. There is a need for the electronic Systems to comply with the levels of EMP produced as per MIL STD 461 F/G, RS105. The communication, defense and now extended to civilian sectors are major victims for the electromagnetic pulse. This paper mainly focuses on technical competence in realizing India's Largest Outdoor RS105 Test Facility. Design of Electrical Ground plane and Modeling & Simulation analysis of bounded wave EMP antenna was carried out to verify the field uniformity as per the standard. System was commissioned and validated to meet the compliance testing for RS105 as per the MIL standards with generated test levels more than 50 kV/m and covering the EUT test volume of 17m(L)×12m(W)×3m(H), sufficient to test the large defense and civilian systems. Facility opened for serving the Indian industries.
