摘要

Majority of Defense Systems utilizes rectangular enclosures and shelters in mobile systems for carrying various equipment such as communication, surveillance, CBRN sensors, power supplies etc. The electromagnetic compatibility at sub-system level as well as at system level of such equipment is necessary in view of the operational conditions as defined in various military standards. The overall electromagnetic compatibility depends on shielding effectiveness of enclosure used in such systems. The effects of external electromagnetic interferences due to various sources, its coupling to subsystems needs to be under control. Emission control is desired depending upon the deployment and operational requirements. One such fully EM compatible rectangular enclosure is designed and developed. The analysis, simulation and test results are presented in this paper.
