Semiautomatic Testing System for High Voltage Detectors

Smart grids need, among other requirements, to reduce out-of-service periods as much as possible. This leads to carefully planned equipment maintenance-working, for which it is necessary to use many tools. An important one is the voltage detector. This paper presents a semiautomatic system for testing high voltage detectors. Changes of testing configurations required by standard are easily done by rotating a simple switch knob, reducing in this way time and human resources. The device can test voltage detectors up to 30 kV, used for distribution networks.
