Power summation method for distribution networks with voltage regulators

摘要

This paper presents a version of the power summation method adapted for distribution networks containing voltage regulators. Also, presents a simplified practical method of allocating voltage regulators. In order to test the presented algorithms, the methods are applied to radial distribution systems of 33 and 70 bus found in the literature to verify the efficiency of the presented algorithm. At the end, the total active loss and the voltage profile of the two systems are compared before and after the installation of the voltage regulators.
