The initial development of cartoons in China began in 1970. The themes were mainly from traditional Chinese stories, folklore and faith. However, the box office of cartoons in Taiwan at that time was not good and it made great losses. Thus, most cartoonists lacked the momentum in creation. Cartoons in Taiwan were transformed from the basic carton OEM to the innovative cartoon trend. With the help of digital science and technology, departments relevant to acceleration of cartoon application and creation of cartoons in the education circle have been founded (Huang Yushan, Yu Weizheng, 1997). During the same time period, as the digitized study was popularized, digital content institutes were founded one after another. The development of the digital content industry like games and cartoons were encouraged and talents in departments relevant to cartoons were cultivated. Accordingly, cartoon teaching was transformed from basic knowledge to transfusion of cartoon creation skills to students. Teaching contents were transformed from plane cartoons to three-D cartoon production. No matter through self-study or from school training, products produced by departments relevant to cartoons began to stand out conspicuously in competitions and international movie exhibitions. Creation of students in cartoon departments began to seriously treat narrative structures and preference choices of works. The next step was to learn about the creation process of cartoons in Taiwan and the preference choice setting in cartoon contents of students in departments relevant to cartoons. They would discuss cartoons. And they needed to investigate and learn about them.
