摘要

Due to the advent use of Microstrip antenna in various applications such as weather radars, broadband and satellite applications.it has become a solid candidate for research. All the applications can be served by a single Microstrip patch antenna when it acts in multiband frequencies. Each application requires some specifications to be fulfilled such as high gain for satellite and broadband applications such as High return loss for impedance matching networks. But effectiveness in one parameter definitely affects the other parameters so that a single multiband antenna will not be used for various applications. The key factor in designing a patch antenna is the feed position and number of slots present in the design. so A design has been proposed for H shaped Microstrip antenna with `I' slots concentrating on multiband applications and various parameters have been analysed like two different feed points (at the centre and off the centre) and also by increasing number of slots from 1 to 3. The results have been simulated by using HFSS software. Antenna parameters is compared for multiband frequencies (S, C, X bands).with this analysis, variation of antenna parameters at various feed positions and due to increase in number of slots can be determined.
