Reconfiguration of electrical distribution network for loss reduction and voltage enhancement

摘要

This paper recommends a new technique for reconfiguration of the network based on Loss Sensitivity Factor to decide the switching combinations and to achieve best combination of switches for minimum active power loss, as well as improvement in voltage profile that progresses the voltage stability in ERDS (Electrical Radial Distribution Systems). The impact of the proposed algorithm has been tested for 33-bus Radial Distribution System.
