A survey on senegalese corporate information and technology infrastructure transformation on cloud services: The resilience of senegalese companies

The recent computer attacks from new types of computer viruses like Petya in June 2017 and the outbreak of WannaCry in May 2017, which exploit vulnerabilities in popular operating systems, have paralyzed many large companies in the world, within twenty-four hours. Some companies were forced to stop their activities for several hours or even days, which shows their vulnerability as far as their ability to protect themselves is concerned, or their ability to continue their activities in case of disasters. Senegalese companies, even if they have not been victims, face enormous risks with outdated infrastructures and a lack of strategic planning to control major risks.
