User-friendly design of an LED-based diffusive luminaire for badminton court illumination

摘要

A user-friendly design of an LED-based diffusive luminaire for illumination of a badminton court is proposed. Under the condition of similar total electric power consumption, compared with original traditional lamps in the badminton court, the average illuminance on the ground is enhanced by about 300% and the uniformity is obviously enhanced and improved. After the replacement of the proposed luminaire systems, high than 70% of player satisfaction for the lighting improvement of the indoor badminton court is obtained. The simulation analysis and the related measurements are demonstrated.
