In the large machine processing industry, when there are more than 50 CNC devices, the use of tools is very large. Relying on labor to judge the life of the tool and register the collection, use, recycling, the use of improper tool or tool abuse, resulting in increased production costs, production efficiency reduction. To solve these problems, a tool life management system based on intelligent terminals is proposed. This system connects warehouse and production workshop through intelligent terminal, and makes statistics and management on tool acquisition, use, scrap, recycling, reuse and other information through data acquisition devices, industrial touch screen, scanning gun, server and other equipment to achieve tool life-cycle tracking. In this paper, the actual use environment is constructed and the system is tested. The results show that the tool life management system designed in this paper can improve the efficiency of tool management, simplify the management process, improve tool utilization, reduce tool waste, save labor costs, and improve the competitiveness of enterprises.
