Honeycomb lattice meshes for reconfigurable universal microwave photonics processors

摘要

This paper explores the use of honeycomb lattice waveguide meshes for universal linear operations and photonic integrated circuit synthesis by programming a common hardware. We discuss the main photonic processor architecture, the non-ideal effects to be considered and its application to different signal processing functionalities.
