Comparison of chemical components of PM2.5 collected at six sites inJapan, China and South Korea in August, 2013

Serious air pollution of particulate matter occurred in a wide area of China attracting attention from all over the world. People in Japan and Korea were worried about trans-boundary air pollution. We were expected to carry polluted air from China to Japan and Korea. We have been conducting joint observations focused on fine particulate matter at 5 sites in Japan and China from 2010. We included a sampling site on Jeju Island, South Korea in August, 2013 and January,2014. We carried out simultaneous observations of PM2.5 and PM1 at these 6 sites. We introduce this sampling campaign and the data obtained during the summer sampling, 2013.
