摘要

The synchronization parameters estimation of Automatic Identification Systems (AIS) signals is a project in studying satellite-based AIS signals. Aiming to the problem of traditional time delay algorithm cannot estimate AIS signals with large frequency offset, a joint frequency and timing recovery algorithm based on cross-correlation theory is proposed in this paper. The argument at which cross-correlation value achieves a maximum is the estimator. Simulation results show that the method can provide a high estimation precision in the low signal-to-noise ratio.
