Attribute-based encryption scheme with attribute revocation

By comprehensively analyzing the existing ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption (CP-ABE) schemes, especially, the schemes for the ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption for the attribute revocation problems in practical applications, this paper proposes a revocable attribute-based encryption scheme which is based on the strategy control. The arbiter of the scheme can control the attribute revocation flexibly according to the attribute revocation list (ARL). To achieve the immediate revocation, the arbiter refuses to decrypt the ciphertext for the user whose attributes have been revoked by checking the ARL. The scheme adopts the linear secret sharing scheme to construct the access strategies (LSSS) and support the flexible access structure. In the meantime, it distributes the secret keys for the users by using the key segmentation technology. Finally, the correctness and the security of the scheme are proved.
