摘要

The paper studies grinding effect in grinding process by using cast iron segment as fine grinding media with comparison to steel ball. The test results indicate that cast iron segment with the most new eligible size fraction and less over mill under the same conditions. Therefore, the cast iron segment can be used as novel fine grinding medium for grinding process substituting for steel ball.
