The Zhongtiaoshan region, located in the southern margin of the North China Craton, is host to a series of the Paleoproterozoic copper deposits. Typical ore deposits in this region are the Tongkuangyu porphyry Cu deposit and Hujiayu metamorphosed sediment-hosted stratiform copper deposit.
