This experiment use Yili Zhaosu Horse Ranch's cut-grassland mowing grass as raw material, cutting grass through rapid drying by turn and the pre drying mudulation different moisture content haylages, to evaluate the effects of turn over the drying method on green hay drying speed and different moisture content on haylage fermentation quality and nutrient composition, and discuss the special hay and haylage modulation method for horse.The results show that, Thought turn the cutting grass above 2 times a day, within 4 hours reduce the moisture content below 40%, and can achieve the moisture content about 15% in the evening of same day.No significant difference in stem-leaf ratio and nutrient contents of hay due to the number of turn times the cutting grass.Pasture grass cutting in July and rapid drying in the field by turn can effectively improve the quality of the hay.Cutting grass through the pre drying modulation haylage can improve the fermentation quality.
