In order to know the indicator gas of coal spontaneous combustion in Taoyuan coal mine, the test system of coal spontaneous combustion characteristics and the heating method of artificial program are used to analyze the gas composition and concentration distribution of the oxidation of different coal samples under different temperatures, which can identify the coal spontaneous combustion indicator gas.Experimental results show that coal oxidizes more and more quickly, as the temperature grows.Coal 10 and coal 8 take CO as main mark gas, and take C2H4 ,C2H6 ,C3H8 as auxiliary index gases.The difference of C2H4 ,C2H6 temperature point in coal 10 and 8 is big.Temperatures of coal 10 are both between 80 and 100 degree when C2H4 or C2H6 appear, while C2H6 generated in coal 8 under the temperature of 40 degree, the emergence of C2H4 need to reach 150 degree.
