Vulnerability and Risk Analysis of Critical Infrastructures

摘要

The basic concepts related to the complexity of modern critical infrastructures are presented, and the issues related to the analysis of their vulnerability and the assessment of the related risk are discussed. To substantiate the discussion, exemplifications are made in relation to the electric power grids. The integration of different types of analyses, and methods thereof, is propounded for capturing the inherent structural and dynamic complexities of critical infrastructures, and confidently evaluate their vulnerability and risk.
