Unstable and intermittent renewable power determines the significance of energy storage technology. In this article, the author will introduce and give analysis of two core technologies of hydrogen storage systems for commercial applications. In this application energy is stored during grid off-peak hours by utilizing wind/solar curtailment resources. The storing process takes advantage of a wide range of voltage and current fluctuation.
