Digital printing is an emerging print technology for narrow web labels and flexible packaging. It enables brand owners and converters to effectively deliver shorter run lengths, meet speed-to-market demands, and deliver product customization. These benefits are fueling significant growth potential for digitally printed packaging. However, digital printing introduces new challenges over traditional flexographic and gravure printing that must be understood early in the development and design of the package.
