摘要

The objective of the project was to identify the best associations between different road surfaces samples and a lot of light distributions of luminaires in view of energy saving and reduction of the number of poles of road lighting installations. A process adapting luminous flux and light distribution of the luminaires to the aging of the road surface was defined to maintain the requirements of the standard with minimum waste of light and energy. Luminaires using LEDs and variable light distributions led to this optimisation. The results of the preliminary study are satisfactory and this winning project will be tested on site under the authority of the Scientific and Technical Network of MEDDTL. The evaluation is not only based on photometric requirements, like luminance level and uniformity, but also on glare evaluation, energy consumption, slipperiness of the road surface, acoustic impact, and financial feasibility of the project.
