PUTTING MULTI-SHADOW INTO NUMBERS

摘要

With the wide application of LED light sources, point-like light sources brought in a new term as "multi-shadow". With more than one shadow near an object overlapping with each other, lighting quality could be affected. In this paper, we have developed a scientific method to measure and analyze multi-shadow. We have systematically studied multi-shadows created with different luminaires, and identified 3 key parameters that could define multi-shadow quantitatively.
