Analysis on Mesoscale Characteristic of Two Southwest Vortex Rainstorm in the region of Huanghuai

1 Process overview Affected by the lower-level shear of Western Pacific subtropical high edge and the movement of Southwest China vortex from southwest to northeast,a regional rainstorm weather process was appeared from 17 to 19 July,2010 in Henan province.The strong convective precipitation time were mainly in two phases from 0800 to 2000 BST (Beijing standard time,hereinafter the same),and from 2000 LST on 18 to 0800 BST on 19 July.The first process (July 17) was a local rainstorm form northeast to southwest,and heavy rainstorm located in the strip from Nanyang to Shangqiu.
