A Summary of Thermosentive CTP Plate and Its Application and Research in China

With the advent of the digital age, computer-to-plate (CTP) technology has become more and more important in printing technology. At present, CTP plates used in the industry are classified into photosensitive CTP plates and thermal CTP plates. The thermal CTP plate has the advantages of daylight operation, low price, fast plate-making speed, high quality printing and environmental friendliness, which has become the mainstream of CTP plate development. Processless thermal CTP plate is likely to be the direction and the focus of future research and development.
