1.Yangtze River Basin Wetland The Yangtze River basin wetland is an area of river and lake wetlands formed by the Yangtze River and its tributaries.Here,it boasts not only natural wetland ecological landscapes formed through the succession of lakes and marshes,but also magnificent wetland agricultural landscapes created through anthropic activity,forming a huge ecosystem combining natural and artificial compound wetlands.Here,it gathers important international wetland groups of the Yangtze River,the largest river in the PRC,with countless biodiversity resources.Additionally,it is home to Yangtze alligators and white-flag dolphins that are particular to the PRC,as well as over three hundred types of fish,and it is also the important habitat for over a million overwintering aquatic birds of approximately one hundred categories.
