A Complete Set of Boundary Conditions on PEC - A Way to Increase the Physical Insight of Undergraduate Students

摘要

This paper presents a complete set of boundary conditions (BCs) for the tangential and normal components of both the electric and magnetic fields on perfect electric conductor. This work aims to enhance the physical understanding of undergraduate students regarding the operating principle of basic microwave components like waveguide, cavity resonator, etc. by simplifying the lengthy mathematical derivations wherever possible by means of using the complete set of BCs.
