摘要

In this study, we have shown the ability of BMMs to adsorb and release greater quantities of PDGF-BB than PCL scaffolds, and sustain that release for 8 weeks. Additionally, the released PDGF-BB maintained bioactivity and stimulated MSC chemotaxis. These collective results combined with prior work suggest that the inclusion of col and HA in bone mimetic scaffolds not only facilitates greater MSC adhesion and proliferation, but also increases the adsorption and subsequent release of growth factors for sustained local delivery. Ultimately, the delivery of PDGF-BB from BMMs provides a biomaterial capable of stimulating chemotaxis as well as supporting adhesion and survival of MSCs.
