TLM-based Simulation of Transients Along a Thin-wire Structure

In this paper, fundamentals of the transmission-line-modeling (TLM) method are briefly explained, and an equivalent radius of a perfectly-conducting wire, represented by the TLM method, is shown. Then, a procedure for specifying a thin wire having an arbitrary radius is proposed, and its validity is demonstrated.
