摘要

With reference to daily rainfall data recorded by 112 meteorological stations in reaches of the Yellow River Basin and its surrounding regions in the past 50 years(1961 ~2010),applying data processing platform of Geo-information system (GIS)technology and in combination with Mann-Kendall Method and Moving t-test method,the article tried to analyze spatial and temporal variation characteristics of drought in the Yellow River Basin.The analysis showed that ①the situation of drought in the Yellow River Basin was becoming more and more serious due to the decreasing of precipitation;②the spatial and temporal patterns of drought had been changed which was mainly represented by the increasing of drought area and expanding of areas prone to drought.
