Mechanical Models for Anti-Rhomb Linkage

This paper presents a brief evolution of the linkages and focuses on the antiparallelogram mechanism and its main features. In one of Bricard's books it is presented a particular case of the contraparallelogram - the anti-rhomb linkage -, which is applied to open a door both ways. We realized some mechanical models that use this linkage, providing different functional characteristics of the door: the opening inside and outside, on the left and/or right side of it.
