Space Integration and Quality Details - An Analysis of the Design of Shanxi Lvliang International Hotel

Shanxi Lvliang International Hotel is a large hotel designed according to the 5-star standard. With careful consideration to the hotel's connection with the reserved buildings, the project design implements an efficient integration of the hotel's external space, which has enhanced the quality of the whole site. The design also focuses on the space quality and details with the concern of the convenient connections in the internal space of the existing constructions. Located at 2 Binhe South Road, Lishi District, Lvliang City, Shanxi Province, the Hotel enjoys a favorable geographic convenience with Binhe South Road to the north and the Pedestrian Shopping Street to the west. In March 2008, the CPC Committee and the Government of Lvliang City decided to expand the scale of the Hotel based on the existing resources of its original foundation to meet the needs of the city in enlarging the scope of opening, optimizing the environment for investment and promoting the brand of the city. The newly-built Lvliang International Hotel is now a large hotel providing services of accommodation, food, conference and recreation. The overall floor area of the newly-built part is up to 55,755.43m~2. With 3 underground floors and 24 floors above the ground, the total height reaches 99.70m. And together with the reserved part of the original construction, the capacity of the Hotel now is greatly enhanced with room service for 950 persons, food service for 1900 persons, conference areas of 2300m~2 and recreation areas of 9000m~2.
