A new kind of venturi-swirler-combined scrubber was developed. This venturi-swirler-combined scrubber is composed of shuttle-typed components and swirler. These shuttle-typed components were assembled to comprise a honeycomb-typed structure gas passages similar to a contraction section, a throat section and an expansion section of venturi. By Sodium calcium Dual alkali scrubbing desulphurization method, the experimental study on desulphurization efficiency of venturi-swirler-combined scrubber was also carried in the pilot system. The effects of operational parameters such as liquid-gas ratio, SO_2 concentration, regeneration liquid pH, sodium ion concentration, sulfate ion concentration on desulphurization efficiency were discussed.
